11.2.2024 BCCMC Meeting Minutes
Meeting held at Moctezumas on Beltline, 43 present
Ed Stanfield, President, greeted and welcomed members and guests.
Birthdays and anniversaries were celebrated.
He announced that Ron Platt and Ott Renken will continue as Members-at-Large and thanked them both for their endeavors over the years.
Donna Edge was the only member to put her name in for the open position. Therefore, she is our new Member-at-Large. Thanks and congratulations to her.
There will be a Board meeting after this lunch.
Donna Stanfield, Treasurer, gave a report. End of month bank balance- $9,802.21
Currently 99 household members. Only expense was name badges, $73.44
BCCMC dues are due January 1, 16 members paid dues today. She will email reminders. She has 1 car badge and hats for sale.
Ed asked for all members to begin soliciting sponsors for our car show; any amount is welcome.
Up coming drive.
Saturday, November 16 , to Little Mt, Antique Mall and Cafe. We will meet at Hwy 76/I-26 Circle K at 10:00. Cafe and additional parking are downstairs. Eric will arrange a drive-by visit to Marion & Dianne Carraway’s who live’s in Prosperity
.Mike Eckhart gave details on the Holiday event:
Thursday, December 12 at Old Mill Brewpub in Lexington. Club will pay for appetizers and desserts. A cash bar will be available. 6:00 meet up and cocktails. There will be a limited menu and members will pay individually, menu items will be under $15.00. Please RSVP to [email protected] email.
Meetings:
January 11th- DiPratos
February 1- Polar Bear Run to Yaussy’s Dolittle Field home, for chili and hotdogs.
BCCMC Board will set up the calendar for meetings and drives for 2025.
