This is the BCCMC Social Calendar for 2024. If you want to coordinate an event please let us know by emailing [email protected].  All it needs to be is something that you would like to do that may be interesting to other club members.  When you let us know we will announce the activity through the Club Activities Calendar on this Website and email blasts.  We want to have as many activities as possible on our calendar so everyone can find something to enjoy.  Our LBC’s need exercise so let’s get out and drive them as much as possible.  We are relying on you to help sponsor events throughout the year. We look forward to hearing from you!

April 6, 2024 The British Car Club Midlands Centre Presents The Carolina British Classics XVI

The Carolina British Classics XVI show was quite a success we had 136 British cars on the show field.

May 4, 2024 Trinity Baptist Church

The First Annual Trinity Car Show has been POSTPONED until SATURDAY MAY 18th

Due to the possibility of inclement weather. A few updates to know along with the date change: 1.  The time has been moved from 10am-3pm to 8:30am-12:30pm2.  At this time there will not be any food trucks at this event. There will still be inflatables for the kids.3.  Registration will continue to be open until Wednesday, May 15th. If you have already registered for this event you do not need to register again. For additional information, please visit our website HERE.If you would like to remove your registration or have any additional questions, please reach out to Kyle via email HERE.

This also a NAMGBR & NAMGAR Regional event with Sunbeam as the featured Marque.

All marques of British cars and motorcycles are invited to participate.  Self-driving tours, guided tours, wine tours, local arts & crafts, silent auction, great food and fellowship

Pre-registration opens here on July 26, 2024. Pre-registrations will define all of the Classes.
Food and adult beverages will again be available on the big show field at Mills River Brewing, 336 Banner Farm Road, Mills River, NC 28759.
We’ll also celebrate our 30th Anniversary.

Event parking will be organized by make (marque/brand): Registrants will receive a dash plaque, a windshield placard, raffle tickets and a ballot form.

Awards: Classes will be based on pre-registrations:
• 1st and 2nd place awards per class – Ribbon/Plaque for 1st and Ribbon for 2nd
• Peer judging for awards
• “Best in Show” was also awarded

Schedule of Events: (subject to change nearer the actual date)
8:30am: Pre-registered participant parking opens
9:00am: On-site Day-of-Show registration opens; event open to the public
11:00am: On-site Registration closes
1:45-2:15pm: 1st and 2nd in Class Ribbons presented on the show field
2:30-3:00pm: 1st in Class and Best in Show “Drive-Through” Presentation Ceremony
3:30pm: Show Closes

Myrtle Beach BRITFEST 2024 will be held in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, rain or shine, the weekend of October 4 – 6, 2024.

Myrtle Beach BRITFEST is a popular regional British car show, featuring new, classic, antique and rare British cars & motorcycles of every kind, and other European vehicles!

Plan ahead! Make a weekend of it in fabulous Myrtle Beach! On Friday, show participants can join us on a delightful driving tour of beautiful Myrtle Beach, and have fun at our popular Friday evening reception! The car show is Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, with more fun weekend events being planned!

What could be better than beautiful British cars, sandy beaches, balmy weather, English tea, a best hat competition, gift baskets, Grand Strand British Car Club regalia, food trucks and nearby great restaurants and breweries, all in a world class resort setting. Show registrants can vote for their favorite cars with awards presented to winners in dozens of categories

39th Annual British Car Day – Charleston S.C.

The British Car Club of Charleston is pleased to announce the 39th annual British Car Day, on October 19, 2024, at Palmetto Island County Park in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina.  The featured marque for this year’s British Car Day is Sunbeam, and cars of the Rootes Group, with special recognition of the 60th anniversary of the Sunbeam Tiger.

150 vintage and classic British cars are expected to fill the show field on Saturday.  Well-known marques like Triumph, MG, Austin Healey and Jaguar will share the field with other rare examples of Alvis, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lotus, Morgan and more.  This popular event draws exhibitors and spectators from all over the mid-Atlantic and Southern states to take part in this amazing display of automotive art and to enjoy the fabulous fall weather of the Lowcountry.

For those looking for more to do while in Charleston, the BCCC is offering a drive and lunch through Francis Marion National Forest to Hopsewee Plantation near Georgetown on Friday October 18th .  This well-preserved, historic plantation offers rich culture, architectural significance, and connections to prominent figures in American history. Tours of the plantation are available, and the onsite restaurant offers delicious examples of Low Country food.

Our host hotel, Hyatt Place, at Towne Center in Mt. Pleasant is the site of the Friday night reception for British Car Day.  Join fellow exhibitors for a casual evening before the Saturday show. Towne Center offers upscale shopping along with several dining options and a trendy wine bar for additional socialization.
